A custom design Consultation Fee is not required for the initial quote but will be required for any design mockups and/or sourcing and holds your place in the production line while we finalize details. If we proceed with your custom jewelry piece, the consultation fee will be applied towards your final purchase.

Custom Design
While each piece is priced separately depending on materials, gemstones and design, I do have certain minimums:
- Any customization to a collection piece starts at $3000.
- Fully custom engagement rings including rings created from provided twigs start at $10,000 (before center stone price).
- Customized settings using provided heirloom diamonds start at $3500 for a .50ct stone.
- Casting with heirloom gold is an additional $200.
- Hand-engraving starts at $250.
I do not currently offer studio appointments.
Absolutely! I have worked with couples all over the world to create their custom visions. Each custom piece goes through several stages of prototyping and design. Through each stage, I send very detailed photos and videos to allow you to see the progress and make comments and changes every step of the way. This takes away a lot of the apprehension and guess work out that you can often feel when ordering something custom. By the time your piece is done, you know exactly how it will look and it will look exactly as you want it.
Every piece in my collection is made to order. This means that small changes and customizations can be made to anything in the collection. If a stone exists, I can source it! So if you don't see a particular stone used elsewhere in my collection, don't worry, I can find one for you. However, certain rough stone styles can only be done with diamonds, sapphires or rubies.
Absolutely! One of the most romantic and meaningful ways to customize your engagement ring is to create an original custom style from twigs that you gather. I've worked with twigs from so many locations- her childhood backyard twisted with a twig from his childhood yard, a tree in the city where the couple met, a tree along their favorite hike, from the backyard of their first home together... There are limitless possibilities of meaning you can put into a tree. It's a beautiful way to capture the memory of your relationship in something that you'll be wearing everyday for the rest of your life.
Depending on the complexity of the design and the degree of customization, custom orders can take anywhere from four weeks to six months or more. In general, if you are customizing a stone or the metal in an existing design, this can add about two weeks to the production time. The timeline for fully custom pieces will be discussed in the initial design consultation but generally require a minimum of eight weeks.
I do work with certain heirloom diamonds. Please be prepared to send photos, carat weight and dimensions of your stone. All stones should have an independent evaluation and be fully insured. You assume all risk of any damage that could occur to the stone. All stones must be shipped to me fully insured and unmounted. I work with heirloom diamonds only. I do not work with provided new stones - I use stones with sentimental value only, not independently sourced stones. Total fees are assessed on a case-by-case basis for provided heirloom stones, but all settings with provided diamonds start at $3500 for a half carat stone.
I work with all precious metals: sterling silver, 14K, 18K, 22K gold, platinum and palladium. I don't work with titanium, tungsten or wood. Because it's such a soft metal, sterling silver is not recommended for any engagement ring or pave styles.
I can cast your piece from heirloom metal. All potential material is evaluated and approved on a case-by-case basis. I cannot change the color of your provided gold. Heirloom gold casting is done in a separate casting cycle in a dedicated crucible to ensure that all of your gold goes into your new ring. There is an additional $200 fee for this process.
I own the rights to all custom designs and may replicate part or all of a custom design for any reason. Images of all custom pieces may be used on my website and social media accounts.
No. I do not sell unfinished work. Each setting is made to order with a specific stone in mind.
Yes, I offer hand engraving on all of my pieces. Please allow an additional 4 weeks production time on engraved pieces.
Hand engraving starts at $250 for the first 5 characters. Each additional character is $30. Symbols and special characters are an additional fee. Add engraving to your piece here.
All pieces that have been customized in any way are final sale. Changes and size alterations may be made to custom pieces after completion. Buyer pays all resizing, alteration and shipping fees.

Any collection piece can be personalized to fit your vision. I can change the stone to nearly any cut, color, size or type. Stones are the most common personalization, but I also make tweaks to the design like adding extra bud and leaf details, smoothing out wood grain, adjusting widths of rings or adding custom hand engraving.

If you're looking for something that truly fits your unique vision, I work with couples one-on-one to create a fully custom one-of-a-kind piece from scratch. Starting with an initial design consultation, we'll talk about your vision, design inspiration, stone choices and metal choices. From there, the design process goes through various stages of prototyping and you are highly involved with each step of the process along the way to ensure that the piece I'm creating aligns perfectly with your vision. I work with couples both in person and remotely (over email and phone).
PROVIDE YOUR OWN TWIG
Every piece in my shop begins by casting a real twig that I use to mold into my creations. I offer my couples the unique rare opportunity to cast their own twig to infuse their ring with a greater level of personalization and meaning. I've worked with twigs from so many locations- a childhood backyard, a twig from her childhood yard twisted with a twig from his childhood yard, a tree from the park the couple walked in on one of their first dates, a twig from a tree in the city they met, a tree along their favorite hike, from the backyard of their first home together, from their favorite vacation spot, from their first vacation spot... There are literally limitless possibilities of meaning you can put into a tree. It's a beautiful way to capture the memory of your relationship in something that you'll be wearing everyday for the rest of your life.

Define the Design
Each piece begins with intention. Designs are shaped by hand, starting with real botanical forms that are carefully sculpted into wax. This stage allows the details, proportions, and character of the piece to take shape before it ever becomes metal..
Cast the Twigs
The wax model is cast using traditional lost-wax methods, preserving the natural texture and movement of the original twigs. Once cast, the piece is refined and prepared for setting, ensuring the organic details remain crisp and true..
Source the Gemstone
If your ideal stone isn't already available, we thoughtfully source gemstones that align with your vision. Color, cut, and character are considered carefully so the final piece feels cohesive, balanced, and uniquely yours.
